The original land art / sound art installation Amalgama was presented as part of the minus20degree Festival for Art & Architecture in Flachau, Austria. The festival was themed Global Village. Amalgama is an experiential land intervention fusing two distinct realities into a new hyper-reality. In simple words, one can hear cicada song while strolling around bushes and trees of the whited-out by snow winter landscape of the Alps. The message derives from what the wonderer is experiencing. It is a reality that does not exist yet there it is.
